Brett Witkowski is a Portfolio Manager who has been a part of the Jaffe Tilchin Team since the firm's founding. Brett’s financial experience started with interning for the Jaffe Group while Scott Jaffe was still a member of CitiGroup Smith Barney. During this internship, Brett was exposed to both the administrative and academic aspects of managing a financial advisory group. Since establishing himself as an investment adviser representative; Brett has worked in developing and implementing several firm initiatives: Shariah Equity Portfolios, the Mutual Fund Selection algorithm, Real Time Monitoring of equity portfolios, Non-Correlated Investment Portfolios, Modular Portfolio Architecture, Conservative Income Portfolios, Shariah Alternative Investment Portfolios as well as the end-client presentations and interior analysis connected to each of the preceding programs.
Brett graduated “magna cum laude” from the University of Tampa in 2008 with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting. Brett’s scholastic achievements include membership in numerous competitive honor societies: During his time at the University, Brett frequently held leadership roles in the University of Tampa Men’s Crew. Brett ended his rowing career with numerous victories and podium finishes at state, regional, and national level competition.
As a member of the investment team at Jaffe Tilchin, Brett is continually inspired by a firm that is willing to go against the “herd mentality” often seen in the financial services industry. Independent research, a unique viewpoint, and computerized investment systems are all tools that Brett uses in developing portfolios for his clients. The willingness to apply Ivy-League portfolio construction techniques with the personalized attention of a “boutique” wealth management firm allows Brett to provide his clients with an uncommon wealth management experience.
